Angela McLean, CEO of Psycho Sisters Consignment Boutique in Atlanta for almost 20 years, started her first shop in Sandy Springs, Georgia with a shoebox as a cash register and a card table to display merchandise. Within the first weekend, Psycho Sisters sold enough clothing to pay first and last months rent, and replenish the clothing! Ever since this time, the success of Psycho Sisters is due to Angie's ability to stay ahead of fashion trends by selling, buying, and trading trends, as well as, 60's hippie, 70's disco, and 80's rock-n-roll clothes. Angie loves to thrift for such items as 80's Madonna-style prom dresses and Member's Only jackets, stocking up the store with gently used trendy, current mall clothing purchased from the public and new designer samples. Angie and her buyers travel from LA, Las Vegas, NYC, and Florida to handpick the cutest affordable dresses, shoes, boots, wigs, jewelry, legwarmers, hats, originally designed t-shirts, and costumes. The bracelets and earrings are usually stylish, yet inexpensive, bling. Angie, a University of Florida graduate and single mother of two beautiful children, volunteers time and money to charity as well as believing that thoughts create reality. Angie has been attending spiritual workshops since the mid-80's. Other than shopping, Angie loves to travel the world experiencing flavors of different varied cultures. Angie is aware of the blessing that Psycho Sisters is, not only to herself and her incredibly helpful and friendly staff, but to the thousands upon thousands of customers and clients who have bought, sold, and traded clothing since the early 90's. Angie has heard hundreds of happy stories ranging from a recent divorcee meeting her husband-to-be on the dance floor because he said her ass looked great in the leather pants she bought at Psycho Sisters, boosting her confidence, to many, many first place winners of costume contests over the years. "I am in total awe and appreciation for Psycho Sisters giving me the freedom to express myself, as well as knowing that my customers love my store, creating a win-win situation in our community. They say what is inside is manifested outward. Scary."
